A couple of years ago I found Theresa Yondo's blog and photos of her lovely work in ceramics. Her blog listed her next event at Cain Park and I visited so I could gawk at her pots in person. I didn't find her, but just a few months later we ended up being in the same trunk show at the old Geode Gallery so I got to be a creepy, gushy fan for hours! Another year later, I found one of her gorgeous vases in the basement of Flower Child and happily rescued it (see right.) Not only is Theresa talented and sweet, she clearly isn't afraid of her number fan because she kindly invited me to show during her open studio event on Saturday, May 21st. I'm honored to be asked to be in the company of terrific and accomplished artists Maryann Posch and John Gulyas, and Deborah Woolfork.
Work for sale will include: functional ceramics, sterling and gemstone jewelry and enamels, and hand-dyed silks. All in the atmosphere of a working clay studio.
